SPARKS, Md. — The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee today announced that USA Lacrosse is one of five new members to its USOPC Affiliate Organizations Council. The newly admitted members, whose active status begins effective immediately, are: United States Muaythai Federation, USA Cricket, USA Federation for Sport Cheering, USA Kickboxing and USA Lacrosse.
LaxCon is back to kick off the 2023 lacrosse season and the schedule, featuring nearly 100 sessions for coaches and officials, has been released. LaxCon takes place from Jan. 20-22 at the Baltimore Convention Center and attendees can save $75 by registering in advance.
SPARKS, Md. — Warrior Sports has signed a multiyear agreement to continue its support of the U.S. Men’s National Team Program as an official partner/equipment supplier. The partnership will include the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego, the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships and other team training activities.
SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has named the final 23-man roster that will represent the United States in the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego. The United States is the reigning world champion and will be the No. 1 seed for the 30-team event which runs June 21 through July 1.
The roster was selected following a 50-player training camp in Florida, held in conjunction with the IMLCA Winter Summit, earlier this month. It was the fourth training opportunity head coach John Danowski and his staff have had with the players since June.
The field for the 2023 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals is filling up and just limited spots remain in the three age groupings (13U, 14U and 15U) in this prestigious national girls’ event.
The 2023 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals are set for July 11-12 in Frederica, Del., at the DE Turf Sports Complex and will be run in partnership with STEPS Lacrosse and Top of the Bay for the third consecutive year. Teams can earn bids through historical performance or an application process.
Noted defensive guru Gerry Byrne, the head men’s lacrosse coach at Harvard University, will be among the featured speakers at the USA Lacrosse Convention from Jan. 20-22, 2023 in Baltimore. LaxCon, annually the sport’s largest educational and networking event, takes place at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The USA Lacrosse Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) national championship event is returning to a popular and familiar East Coast location in 2023.
USA Lacrosse has announced that the 2023 WCLA Division I and II National Championships will be played at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex and Sportsplex in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The same venue previously hosted the WCLA Championship in 2014, 2015, and 2019.
The U.S. men’s national team is headed to Florida this weekend to conduct a training camp being held in conjunction with the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMCLA) Winter Summit.
The U.S. men will hold two Blue-White exhibition games at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Fla. The first game will be held Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. and the second game will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. Both games are open to the public and free of charge.
