SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has invited over 100 of the nation's top high school men's lacrosse players to compete in the National Team Development Program Combine Aug. 1-3 at its headquarters in Sparks, Md. The players represent high schools from 28 states.

The three-day combine will include on-field, strength and conditioning, nutrition, recruiting and sport psychology training to help players prepare for higher levels of play and introduce them into the U.S. national team pipeline.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has invited 150 of the nation's top high school women's lacrosse players to compete in the National Team Development Program Combine Aug. 8-10 at its headquarters in Sparks, Md. The players represent high schools from 23 states and the District of Columbia.

The three-day combine will include on-field, strength and conditioning, nutrition, recruiting and sport psychology training to help players prepare for higher levels of play and introduce them into the U.S. national team pipeline.

USA Lacrosse has opened the application process for the head coach for the team that will represent the United States in the 2024 World Lacrosse Men’s Box Championship. This appointment will begin in 2022 and run through the USA Lacrosse Convention in January 2025.

The head coach is primarily responsible for the selection, training and coach for the 2024 U.S. men’s box team.

SPARKS, Md. — U.S. men’s national team head coach John Danowski has invited 50 players to participate in a training camp from Sept. 23-25 at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., in preparation for the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship. The majority of players invited to the training camp participated in a tryout session last month.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse today announced the 2022 boys’ players and coaches honored through its high school recognition program. The recognition program includes Coach of the Year awards and for players, All-America, All-Academic, and the Bob Scott Award.

A USA Lacrosse All-American is a player who exhibits superior skills and techniques and possesses exceptional game sense and knowledge. A USA Lacrosse All-American is one of the best players in the United States, while also embodying excellent sportsmanship.

A record 90 youth girls’ lacrosse teams are set to compete in the 2022 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals from July 12-13 at the DE Turf Sports Complex in Frederica, Del. The 90 programs represent club programs from 12 states and will compete in three age groupings — 13U, 14U and 15U.

The event, which dates to 2009, is in its second year of USA Lacrosse partnering with STEPS Lacrosse and Top of the Bay Sports to conduct the activities at the DE Turf Sports Complex. Located just 30 minutes from Delaware’s beaches, DE Turf is the largest all-synthetic sports complex in the Mid Atlantic.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – World Lacrosse Sixes is set for its debut at the global level with 16 men’s and women’s teams taking the field at the 11th edition of The World Games starting Friday at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s PNC Field. Ninety-six of the sport’s top athletes from around the world will help make lacrosse history at the multi-sport event, which is returning to the United States for the first time since its 1981 debut in Santa Clara, California.

TOWSON, Md. — A rematch of the last World Lacrosse women’s championship game had a championship atmosphere as the United States defeated Canada 16-11 before a boisterous crowd at Unitas Stadium and a national television audience on ESPN2 on the opening night of the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship.
