SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has named Dave Krupinski as its new Vice President of Marketing, Media, and Communications, bringing aboard a seasoned sports marketing leader known for innovative storytelling and award-winning digital content.
In this role, Krupinski will lead the strategic direction and execution across all facets of marketing, media, communications, and creative for USA Lacrosse. As a member of the organization’s Leadership Team, he will oversee 12 social media platforms, the USA Lacrosse website, USA Lacrosse Magazine (print and digital), and a range of external initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s voice, mission, and long-term vision.
“Joining USA Lacrosse is a rare opportunity to make a real impact—not just on an organization, but on the future of an entire sport,” Krupinski said. “I’m driven to build a culture of connection – where powerful stories spark emotion, moments become memories, and memories ignite momentum. As we set our sights on the 2028 Olympics, our mission is bigger than the game itself, it’s about inspiring the next generation and defining the future of lacrosse on the world stage.”
“Dave’s leadership and work has demonstrated his unique ability to connect with fans and constituents,” said USA Lacrosse CEO Marc Riccio. “His experience in other sports, like basketball, will bring fresh perspective to our creative and messaging. We look forward to the impact he will have for our members, our national team athletes and the game.”
Prior to joining USA Lacrosse, Krupinski served as Head of Content at MALKA Media, where he developed a network of original digital series in collaboration with high-profile athletes and celebrities. His projects earned numerous accolades, including the two People’s Choice Awards, 2x NAACP Podcast of the Year, 2x Webby for Best Sports Podcast, Shorty for Best Podcast Mini-Series, and multiple shows that hit #1 on the charts on both Apple and Spotify. He also led monetization strategies that generated over $10 million in ad revenue over two years.
Earlier in his career, Krupinski held multiple roles at Under Armour, where he co-created the UAA and Girls UAA youth basketball leagues, helping develop hundreds of athletes who’ve gone on to play in college, the NBA and WNBA. He also led digital campaigns around Stephen Curry’s signature sneaker line and helped innovate content strategies for UA’s basketball category and global brand during a peak period of growth.
“As an athlete, I’ve lived my own player journey—but I’ve also had the privilege of shaping thousands more,” Krupinski said. “That perspective has fueled my approach to storytelling, helping me create content that truly resonates with players, parents, and coaches at every stage of the game.”
Krupinski holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from St. John’s University, where he played club volleyball and served as a team manager for the women’s soccer program.
