USA Lacrosse Inks New Partnership with Gatorade as Exclusive Sports Drink

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse and Gatorade, the sports fuel leader, announced a multi-year partnership as the “Exclusive Sports Drink of USA Lacrosse.” Through the agreement, Gatorade becomes an Official Partner of USA Lacrosse and the U.S. national teams, providing access to its entire product portfolio.

“We are thrilled to welcome Gatorade to the USA Lacrosse family,” said Marc Riccio, President and CEO of USA Lacrosse. “Our shared vision for athletic performance will come to life at all levels of the game. Gatorade is an iconic brand and their commitment to USA Lacrosse reinforces the value and opportunity the sport of lacrosse provides.”

As part of the three-year partnership, Gatorade will be exclusively featured at Tierney Field, the home field at USA Lacrosse National Headquarters in Sparks, Md. Tierney Field hosts scores of lacrosse events annually, ranging from youth playdays to national team showcases. Additionally, Gatorade products from across their innovative portfolio will be available to all participants and Gatorade branding will be visible on the sidelines.  Working together, Gatorade and USA Lacrosse will support programs and initiatives in local communities by providing products and services.

Coming up this summer, Gatorade will serve as a key sponsor for the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship held from June 29 – July 9 at Towson (Md.) University. This new partnership will also include Gatorade sponsoring a variety of USA Lacrosse national events including: 

  • USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals in Frederica, Del. (July 12-13).
  • USA Lacrosse National Convention in Baltimore (Jan 2023)
