SPARKS, Md. — Nearly 30 games from the 2024 Brogden Cup, an international event featuring top high school-aged players, will be streamed this weekend on GoLiveSports, a multi-sport streaming service.

The Brogden Cup will be played at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., from Oct. 25-27 and features the USA Select U16 and U18 boys’ and girls’ teams competing against their counterparts from the Haudenosaunee Nation and Team Ontario. Additional games including the Sekai Crosse Youth girls teams from Japan will also be included in the streaming packages.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Brogden Cup at USA Lacrosse headquarters on the weekend of Oct. 25-27. The event features the USA Select U16 and U18 boys’ and girls’ teams competing against their counterparts from the Haudenosaunee Nation and Team Ontario.

Pre-sale tickets are available until Wednesday, Oct. 23 for just $5 per day or $12 for the entire event. After that, walk-up tickets will be available for $10 per day or $25 for the event.

USA Lacrosse has named 48 of the nation’s top high school girls’ lacrosse players to its 2024 USA Select U16 and U18 teams. Following a series of regional tryouts around the country, a total of nearly 180 players were invited to a three-day national combine that wrapped up in early August. The USA Select teams were determined after the combine.

Following a series of regional tryouts around the country, a total of more than 150 players were invited to a three-day national combine in late July. The USA Select teams were determined after the combine.

“Psychology Today” claims that there is no evidence to suggest that a telepathic connection exists between twins.

Don’t tell that to Ava and Brinn Findora, two USA Select U16 hopefuls competing in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program Combine this week at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Md.

As Ava, a draw specialist and midfielder, and Brinn, an attack-midfield hybrid, glided across the Zolenas and Paw Print turf fields in temperatures nearing triple digits, their inherent chemistry was evident.

Telepathic? Surely not. But then …

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — John Balsamo and Michael McColgan spent this summer playing lacrosse in front of sunscreen-lathered lacrosse coaches taking notes from their camping chairs. It’s showcase season, you see, and as rising high school juniors each of them hopes to hear from some of those coaches come Sept. 1.

This week was different. From the moment they arrived in Baltimore for the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program Combine, they sensed a greater purpose.

In less than a month, the 2024 U.S. Women’s U20 National Team will travel to Hong Kong, China in pursuit of a world championship.

For nearly 180 high school girls’ lacrosse players invited to compete in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program Combine, the pursuit starts now.

They come from high schools in 19 states and the District of Columbia and represent some of the most recognizable club programs in the country.

USA Lacrosse has selected more than 150 of the nation’s best high school boys’ lacrosse players to compete in the National Team Development Program Combine.

Representing high schools from 28 states and the District of Columbia, the players (listed below) qualified for the combine during a series of regional tryouts at which they were evaluated for tactical, technical and physical performance.

Built as a pipeline for the U.S. Men’s National Team, the development program launched in 2019 and each year works with hundreds of the top high school players from around the country through three phases – regional tryouts, a national combine and ultimately USA Select Teams (U16 and U18) competing against international competition.
