SAN ANTONIO — Four years ago, when the U.S. men’s national team convened at IMG Academy for the 2016 Spring Premiere in Florida, the newly minted coaching staff approached the training weekend with equal parts curiosity and naivete. They had never worked with professional athletes before.

The U.S. senior team will play two games as part of the Spring Premiere at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio on the weekend of Jan. 4-5, 2020. The U.S. men’s U19 team will also participate.

SPARKS, Md. — Cascade Maverik Lacrosse has signed a new multi-year partnership agreement with US Lacrosse, the U.S. men’s and women’s national teams and the National Team Development Program (NTDP). Cascade, a longtime partner of the U.S. national team program, also becomes the “Preferred Helmet Partner” of the US Lacrosse First Stick Program and brings the Maverik brand into the US Lacrosse family.
SPARKS, Md. — U.S. women’s national team head coach Jenny Levy and her staff have announced that 50 players have been invited to the official tryout for the U.S. team that will represent the country in the 2021 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship.
The world championship will be hosted by US Lacrosse from July 7-17 at Towson University in Towson, Md., marking the first time the event has been held in the United States since 2005.
SPARKS, Md. — Due to safety and health concerns related to the recent surge in cases of COVID-19, US Lacrosse has postponed the upcoming tryouts for the U.S. women’s national team. The tryouts had been scheduled to be hosted at US Lacrosse headquarters from Dec. 4-6, 2020.
A total of 50 players were invited to the tryouts, which will be the first phase of naming the squad that will represent the United States at the upcoming World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship, hosted by US Lacrosse at Towson University.

World Lacrosse announced today the new dates for the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship, which now will be held June 29-July 9, 2022 in Towson, Md. on the campus of Towson University. As many as 30 national teams are expected to compete in the event.
The dates were confirmed by a unanimous vote of the World Lacrosse Board of Directors during its monthly meeting today.

LANGLEY, British Columbia — The United States built a big lead and withstood a late surge by England, claiming its fifth straight bronze medal in the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship with an 11-8 victory Saturday at Langley Events Centre.
Anthony Kelly, Connor Kelly and Cody Radziewicz scored two goals apiece and Joe Resetarits finished with five assists, as the U.S. outshot England 61-29.
