The historic USA Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament gets underway on Saturday at Cedar Lane Regional Sports Park in Bel Air, Maryland. A total of 58 teams, featuring more than 1,100 high school players from 25 states will compete in the event, one of the biggest and most important college recruiting events on the calendar each year.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, USA – World Lacrosse and ESPN have reached a historic agreement, giving the network global media rights to World Lacrosse championships through 2023. A total of 246 games across three international events will be carried exclusively on ESPN’s linear networks or ESPN+ in the U.S., and in 170+ territories via ESPN International.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has announced that the induction ceremony for the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame Class of 2021 will be held on October 15, 2022 at The Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley, Md. It will be a highlight of a full weekend of lacrosse activities that will include the U.S. men’s, women’s and USA Select teams competing during the annual Fall Classic.

USA Lacrosse and MedStar Health announced a five-year extension of the partnership between the two organizations, lasting through 2026. The new agreement continues the multi-faceted, long-term collaboration that was initially forged in 2016.

The World Games has announced the schedule for the men's and women's lacrosse events this summer and the U.S. men will play Germany, Great Britain and Australia in pool play. The U.S. women will play Australia, Japan and the Czech Republic during pool play.

ROUND ROCK, Texas – Saturday afternoon, just minutes after Boston College Club defeated Georgia, 12-7, to claim its first WCLA Division I title, four of BC’s players found themselves together for one of the plethora of celebratory photos that were being taken by parents and supporters. 

Standing on the Field 1 turf at Round Rock’s Multipurpose Complex, there was an odd feeling of familiarity between the current moment and one that occurred last spring.

ROUND ROCK, Texas – If there’s one thing that the Loyola Maryland club players all hate, it’s the ‘Circle Drill’ that is part of their practice sessions. It’s something they do to improve on their stick work, ball possession, and quick decision-making, but similar to eating your vegetables and flossing regularly, the benefit is more long term. 

“Everybody hates doing it, but it pays off,” said senior team captain Erin Haverty.

ROUND ROCK, Texas — By strong consensus among many of the WCLA’s Division I coaches, Boston College Club and Georgia have been the two most dominant teams throughout the 2022 season. In fact, Georgia resided at the top of the national ranking for the first half of the year and BC owned the top spot for the second half.
