Three Easy Steps to Age Verify
The USA Lacrosse age verification system is secure and easy to use. USA Lacrosse takes data security very seriously and is periodically audited by third parties for compliance with the latest standards.
- Log into your USALacrosse.com account, not your child's if you are a parent. (See video below for a tutorial)
- Find the member you need to verify.
- Upload a valid form of ID.
Age Verification FAQs
What is the fee to be age-verified by USA Lacrosse?
There is no separate fee for this benefit. Age verification is one of the benefits of a USA Lacrosse membership.
Who is required to be age-verified by USA Lacrosse?
Beginning July 1, 2024 all players, regardless of age, will be required to submit proof of age. This is a one-time process and will not need to be repeated on an annual basis.
What documentation is accepted by USA Lacrosse for age verification?
Any of the following documents can be used:
- Birth certificate
- Driver’s license
- Passport and/or Visa
- State issued ID
- Military ID
What happens to the document after it's uploaded?
A USA Lacrosse staff member will review the document, record the birthdate in our system to mark the individual's record as age-verified and then permanently delete the uploaded document from our system.
How long does the process take for someone to become age-verified?
The age-verified processing is usually completed within two business days of submission. Please allow adequate time if you are participating in an event that requires age verification.
Who is using age verification?
Various events and programs around the country are using age verification. A partnership with the National Lacrosse Federation helped accelerate the use of age verification in boys' club lacrosse. A recent post lists some of the larger events utilizing age verification and what's coming for the 2024-25 season.
