USA Lacrosse, the governing body of men’s and women’s lacrosse in the United States, has entered a new three-year partnership with Stryker, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, to serve as the Official AED provider of USA Lacrosse and the U.S. National Teams. 

As part of this partnership, USA Lacrosse members will receive discounted pricing on Stryker’s AEDs (automated external defibrillators), which include the LIFEPAK CR2 and HeartSine devices.

The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), the preeminent non-varsity league in the country, is pleased to announce that for the sixth year, USA Lacrosse is sponsoring the MCLA Player of the Month in 2022.

The award will be presented to an MCLA student-athlete in each division who has had an outstanding on-field performance.

"USA Lacrosse is committed to sponsoring this award that will recognize the efforts of the MCLA's best student-athletes,” said Rick Lake, men’s game director at USA Lacrosse. “We wish all the teams good luck for the 2022 season."

SPARKS, Md. — It’s less than a year until the World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship and U.S. head coach Jenny Levy will use the upcoming Fall Classic to get another look at the players that will ultimately represent the U.S. in the world championship. The U.S. has won the last three world championships leading up to the 2022 event, which will be hosted by USA Lacrosse at Towson University.

SPARKS, Md. — The Fall Classic will bring the U.S. men’s national team together for the first time since January 2020 and head coach John Danowski is ready to take the next step as he builds towards the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s World Championship. Danowski, also the head men’s lacrosse coach at Duke, led the U.S. to a gold medal at the 2018 world championship in Israel.

SPARKS, Md. — Tickets are now on sale for the Fall Classic, a unique showcase of the top lacrosse teams from the international and college ranks taking place at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md. from Oct. 15-17.

The event features six teams, including the reigning gold (United States) and silver (Canada) medalists at the most recent World Lacrosse men’s and women’s championships along with the 2021 NCAA Division I champions — Boston College (women) and Virginia (men).

This series brings together prominent athletes and leaders from the world of female sports to share their experiences and insights for girls and women in sports on and off the field. Key themes include the empowerment of women in and through sport; diversity, equity, and inclusion; mentorship; and mental health.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has introduced two new membership categories — a 6U membership and a young adult membership.

The 6U membership is designed as an introduction to the organization and is discounted to a price of $15 annually. The young adult category is for individuals aged 19 to 22 and is discounted to the same rate as the high school category at $35 annually.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO, USA – USA Lacrosse, with support from World Lacrosse and participating Iroquois and Canadian federations, will play host to a historic  “Super Sixes” tournament, October 23-24, in Sparks, Md.

The tournament will feature Canada, the Iroquois Nationals, and the United States in a round-robin tournament for both men and women. All three nations will help organize the event. The tournament will be played at William G. Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse’s complex.

SPARKS, Md. — Forty-four of the nation’s top high school boys’ lacrosse players have been named to the 2021 USA Select U16 and U18 teams. The players were selected following a national combine at USA Lacrosse headquarters earlier this month that included more than 130 candidates.

The 44 players come from high schools from 15 states and represent 31 different club programs around the nation.
