FREDERICA, Del. — A year ago at this time, the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals were canceled due to the global pandemic. So, it was only fitting that one of the winning coaches said that her team’s success was attributable to being joyful to play the game.

SPARKS, Md. — First Scout Productions, a leading provider of professional recruitment film services for college-bound student athletes, has expanded its partnership with USA Lacrosse. 

First Scout will be the official video partner of the USA Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament and a supporting partner of the National Team Development Program (NTDP). The agreement runs through 2023.

Let’s try this again.

After a year’s postponement due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are once again officially one-year out from the beginning of the World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship.

Originally scheduled for the summer of 2021, the 10th edition of this event promises to be a special one that will be worth the wait. A record 30 nations will compete at Towson University from June 29 to July 9, 2022 and USA Lacrosse is proud to host the championship for the first time since 2005.

Registration is now open for the World Festival, a women’s lacrosse event that will be run in conjunction with the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship.

The World Festival will feature, youth, high school and adult age divisions for women’s lacrosse players from both the United States and countries around the world. Participating teams will have a four-game guarantee and registration includes access to watch the world championship games.

The World Festival will take place at Goucher College in Towson, Md., and will be held on the following dates:

SPARKS, Md. — Head coach Jenny Levy and her staff have invited 36 players to a training camp for the U.S women’s national team to be held June 29 through July 1 at USA Lacrosse headquarters. The training camp comes on the heels of a tryout featuring more than 60 players that concluded on June 11.

During a recent lacrosse tournament, several inappropriate comments were directed towards a player on one of the competing teams related to their gender. Clearly, there is no place for this type of disturbing behavior in our sport. We are working together with Corrigan Sports Enterprise, one of our event sanctioning operators, to connect with all parties involved to address this specific issue.
