UCLA and Denver Club are the top-ranked teams in the newest WCLA Division I and II Top 20 rankings, released today.

The Bruins (9-0) are the defending D-I champions and have held the top spot in the Division I poll since the preseason, while Denver (4-1) jumped three spots this week to claim the number one D-II ranking for the first time this season.

USA Lacrosse has announced the process and timeline for its 2025 grant offerings, which provide resources to groups and organizations to support local lacrosse development and opportunities.

USA Lacrosse grants are designed to reduce barriers to participation, increase inclusivity, and fuel game growth in communities throughout the country by awarding equipment, financial support, and educational opportunities.

Last year, USA Lacrosse awarded 184 grants to organizations across 44 states with a total retail value of almost $370,000.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse currently has openings for a physician and athletic trainers to support the Men’s Field National Team.  We’re looking for world-class medical providers to support this team in during its competition cycle inclusive of the World Lacrosse World Championship in 2027 in Japan.

Coming off two appearances over the last three years in the WCLA’s national championship tournament, Clemson’s club team – similar to its third-year varsity program – is on a great trajectory. With that in mind, the club’s goal in 2025 is quite straight forward: another trip back to the WCLA Nationals.

Over the past three WCLA seasons, there’s been no team that has won more games than Georgia. The Bulldogs amassed a gaudy 57-7 record from 2022 through 2024, with two national runner-up finishes and one additional national semifinal berth. The only achievement that has alluded Georgia during that stretch is the national championship.

Perhaps 2025 will bring that coveted prize. The Bulldogs certainly seem to on the right path.

SPARKS, Md. – Several current and former members of the USA Lacrosse Sports Science & Safety Committee were involved in a recently published study that offers consensus recommendations in the event of a suspected spine injury in lacrosse.

The paper, “Prehospital care of suspected spine-injured lacrosse athletes: a systematic search, evidence review, and consensus recommendations,” was published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine.
